Day 333: Ginkgo Berries

Remember those trees that turn bright yellow in fall? They produce these round, pale-pink – and very stinky – berries, which look lovely on a rain-soaked sidewalk. I’ve seen Asian women collect these berries by the bagful, so I looked up recipes online and discovered that it’s the nut, not the stinky berry, that is treasured in Asian cuisine.
